About Brooke Bartleson

Ever since she saw her first bear in the wild at sixteen years old, it has been hard to separate Brooke from bears. Originally from New Jersey, her first bear experience inspired her to endeavor to get closer to the wildest and most inspiring places on the planet. After graduating from college at the University of Colorado Boulder, each new step in her life has taken her further and further into the wild: from Colorado, to Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and then finally to Alaska. For almost a decade Brooke has been leading bear viewing trips and wildlife photography expeditions while she continues cementing herself as a leader and a force for good in the wildlife photography community.
